The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) entitles California residents to opt of the “sale” of their personal information as that term is defined in the CCPA.
Google Analytics uses the web browsing data to enrich its own products in a manner that may make this a “sale” to Google under CCPA. If you’d like to opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics on a particular browser, simply install this add-on to that browser. You also may opt-out from Google Analytics for Display Advertising or the Google Display Network in a particular browser by using Google’s Ads Settings located at https://www.google.com/settings/ads.
